Theblacksnub-nosedmonkey,knownastheYunnansnub-nosedmonkey,isacreaturethatlivesinanarrowcorridorareastretchingfromMangkangcountyinSouthwestChina'sTibetAutonomousRegiontoYunlongCounty,SouthwestChina'sYunnan.Ithasadistinctiveupturnednose,apairofbigeyes,blackfurandpinklips.Itisinthelistofnationalfirst-levelprotectedwildanimals,anditishardtospotgiventhatitshabitatislushvalleysataheightof3,000meters.ZhongTai,whohasjustretiredfromhispositionasdeputydirectoratthemanagementandprotectionbureauofBaimaSnowMountainNationalNatureReserveinYunnan,isoneofpeoplewhoknowsthismedium-sizedprimatespeciesthemost.Zhongcametotheareawhenhewas17,andlaunchedhis38-year-longcareertoworkwithwildlife.

黑色扁鼻猴，又名云南扁鼻猴，生活在從中國西南部***自治區芒康縣到中國西南部云南云龍縣的狹窄走廊地區。它有一個獨特的上翹鼻子，一雙大眼睛，黑色的皮毛和粉紅色的嘴唇。它是國家一級保護野生動物，它的棲息地是海拔3000米的蔥郁山谷，很難被發現。鐘泰剛剛從云南白馬雪山國家級自然保護區管理與保護局副局長職位退休,他是最了解這種中型靈長類動物的人之一。鐘泰在17歲時來到這里，開始了他38年的野生動物工作生涯。
